Unemployment...What to do now?

Well it seems that that last month over 199,000 individuals lost their jobs. Now people are asking themselves, "What now"? Judging by our survey most individuals think next year will be better........

IMHO (in my humble opionion) I think that things will be rough through 2002, and probably get better in the spring of 2003. So what can you do between now and then?

1. If you haven't already start living within your means do it now. Americans as a whole rely on credit. They need to realize that they're losing alot of money for borrowing on time.

2. Monitor your credit wisely. Tighten your belt if need be.

I have a 19yo son. My advice to him is.....be ready. This downturn will eventually change and if he just continues with college and doesn't get to far in debt he will eventually come out ahead. (BUT, he is 19,,,you get the picture.)
